Overview

Ezen connects a user's selected Google services to a specific assistant selected by the account owner. Google Calendar and Google Tasks are available to connect. Gmail is not currently offered; a Gmail connection approved before it was withdrawn is no longer read by Ezen and can be deleted at any time. Connections are used only to help with tasks the user requests or approves.

Google Data We Access

Depending on the permissions approved by the user, Ezen may access:

How We Use Google Data

Google data is used only to provide the specific assistant features requested by the user or by the assistant connected to that user. Ezen does not sell Google user data. Ezen does not use Google user data for advertising.

Google data may be provided to the connected assistant only for the purpose of answering the user's request or performing the action the user asked for. Calendar and Tasks access is read-write: Ezen creates or updates calendar events and tasks only when you, or the assistant acting on your explicit request, ask it to. Gmail is not currently offered for connection; Ezen never requested Gmail send, compose, or mailbox-modification scopes, and no Gmail data is read for any assistant.

Ezen's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Ezen does not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models. Google user data is used only in the context of the connected assistant and the user's requested workflow.

Storage and Security

OAuth tokens and connection data are stored in the application's configured credential store. Access is scoped to the specific user, connection, and assistant configuration. Operational access is limited to what is needed to run and troubleshoot the service.

Refresh tokens are stored encrypted. Encryption keys are kept outside the database. Access to a connection is limited to the specific assistant or service that the account owner assigned to that connection.

Sharing

Ezen does not share Google user data with third parties except infrastructure providers and services required to operate the application, process the user's request, or comply with legal obligations.

Humans do not read Google user data unless the user explicitly asks for support involving that data, access is necessary for security or abuse investigation, or access is required by law.

Revoking Access and Deletion

A user can revoke Google access at any time from their Google Account permissions page. Signed-in users can also open Ezen's Data Controls page to disconnect an assistant from a Google connection or delete stored connection data owned by that signed-in user.

When access is revoked or deletion is requested, Ezen deletes the stored OAuth connection and tokens from the configured credential store unless retention is required for security, legal, or audit purposes.

Data Controls are available at https://ezen.tomercode.com/data after signing in.

Changes to This Policy

Ezen may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and material changes will be posted here before they take effect. Continued use of Ezen after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy. Please review this page periodically.
